On Painters and Painting

I was thrilled to check in to one of the few blogs I like to keep up on yesterday, this one is only a recent discovery, and find the latest entry is all about me! (kinda) . So big thank you to James Roberts, fabulous to be seen amongst the artists you've been blogging. A great read for painters everyone.

Churchie and Frames

I had theses 3 paintings (30cm x 30 oil on board) accepted for the Churchie national emerging art exhibition which is very exciting, so off to Paul Warren in Randwick for some emergency framing. As usual he's done a great job, picking up work from the framer is like opening xmas presents, always a thrill to see them first time like that, here's what I had done, hanging in my hallway.

Bit late, but these are from 23rd april. Quick ones are Aquatone, Other 3 are egg tempera. Trying dark paper with limited success, there were a few discards this night.
